Jason has 14 years of experience in designing and developing software systems with a focus on combating cyber-enabled fraud. Jason began his career as an accounting systems analyst at Alabama Power integrating the mainframe accounting system to modern desktop computers, using a variety of mainframe and object-oriented programming languages.

After attaining his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, Jason earned a masters and doctoral degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence while working as a teaching and research assistant. As a research assistant Jason designed, developed, and maintained systems to collect data about cyber-enabled fraud. Jason’s research resulted in efforts to prevent and understand cybercrime by public & private companies, and local, state, federal, and international law enforcement agencies.

Jason then worked at Wells Fargo in the Cyber Crime Intelligence Unit (CCIU). As the CCIU’s lead data scientist, he worked with lines of business to identify customers being targeted by cyber actors, and built processes to make the intelligence actionable.

Jason is a Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Cyber Team Six.
